My Van Conversion - Planning and Designing

Heres the next installment about the my van conversion! I am currently lowkey planning my van. What colours I want, the layout, what cutlery and dinnerware I want, how I'm going to get everything and where I'm going to get it from! It's all super exciting! I am mostly using pinterest to get my ideas however I am also using shops and websites to try and find real life and cheap options for my ideas. So far, The Warehouse, Briscoes and Spotlight are my best bets for getting the gear I need at reasonable prices. I want to do a lot of this conversion myself which will involve things like making curtains and frames for the bed and cupboards. As I am building in a vehicle I want the interior to be as lightweight as possible to make it safer for the van and for me.

This would have to be preferred colour palette. I really like the neutral blues and greyish tones as well some pops of teal. This is what I want to base my van around, through blankets, pillows, curtains, dinnerware etc.

Using pinterest again, I have also found heaps of ideas for how I want to layout the interior of my van. So of my ideas are shown in following photos (bare in mind that my van will probably be smaller than some of the ones photographed so the layout might differ slightly).

These are just a few ideas that I am taking inspiration from for my van. I would really like to find ways to make it my own though however looking at photos is always good as it gives you some starting ideas. I think the biggest thing with converting a van is to make the best use of space possible. As you're in a small space, you want to have to the most amount of room but also have enough storage as well.
(All of these photos are taken from pinterest, none are mine) However I will take photos of my van when I get it and start renovating.
