My Short list of books that mean the world to me

I don't often write about books, because I am very rarely touched in a large by them. I have a small list, however, of books that have made me feel, and have changed my perspective on people and then world.

My short list consists of the following books:

- All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

- Paper Towns by John Green

and as of today,

- The Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller

I'm not even going to try and write about each of these books because I know that if I do, I will give everything away and you'll end up reading and 2000 word essay. I will however share with you a my favourite quote from each book.

"We do not remember days, we remember moments" | All the Bright Places

"It's hard to leave - until you leave, and then it's the easiest goddamn thing in the world" | Paper Towns

“In the darkness, two shadows, reaching through the hopeless, heavy dusk. Their hands meet, and light spills in a flood like a hundred golden urns pouring out of the sun.” | The Song of Achilles
